Desperados Beer

Fischer produces Desperados, a pale lager flavored with tequila. Desperados has a 5.9% ABV. Desperados was first brewed in 1995 in France, and is the fourth largest beer in this market. The beer is now sold in over fifty countries. As of May 2009, SHS Sales and Marketing have now taken over the UK distribution of Desperados beer after Tiger beer went out of business. The company uses the Beverage Brands arm of the group, which owns WKD & WKD Core, to push the brand in to independent outlets while SHS concentrate on the managed, leased and tenanted side of the business.
Desperados' listed ingredients are water, malted barley, glucose syrup, corn, sugar, aromatic compounds (75% Tequila) citric acid, and hop extract.
The firm also brews Desperados Mas. This is 3% ABV and flavoured with both tequila and lime.
Desperados is not Mexican as many people think but is produced in France.

Aperol

Aperol is an Italian aperitif originally produced by the Barbieri company, based in Padua. Aperol is now produced by the Campari company. While Aperol was originally created in 1919, it did not become successful until after World War II. Its ingredients are, among others, bitter orange, gentian, rhubarb, and cinchona.

Although it looks, tastes, and smells much like Campari, Aperol has an alcohol content of 11% - a little less than half of Campari. Campari is also slightly darker in color.

Aperol is the main ingredient in Spritz.
